sprained my wrist

My wrist got sprained since 3 weeks ago. Today decided to get consult by chinese doctor. I like the chinese medicine aroma, smell really good.
From outside view, (u will never get wrong)...it looks obvious that was a chinese medicine clinic. I feel confident when see many bottles label with chinese character, it shows that they have many herbs and chinese medicine available. The doctor run his business by himself. Once i walk in, nobody at the counter, but i can see the "see-through" glass room...the doctor giving consultation to a lady girl. After 10 minutes, the girl came out and sitting there reading magazine. The doctor start to pick up the herbs according to the portion he written. He divided to 5 portions...i was observing...and wondered why the girl need so many herbs. She look completely healthy and i can't see anything wrong with her. Maybe inner part of her body not well.
I was keep wondering, how should i tell him "my wrist got sprained" in mandarin. I only know how to say it in cantonese - "lau charn". While i was waiting for my turn, i was looking around his clinic. I saw his certificate hanging nicely on the wall. He was graduated and born from Guangdong, China. No more worries, he can speak cantonese. After i think twice, if i start talking to him in cantonese, i might not tell him in details using cantonese due to my novice level. Once the lady leave, he asked me -"you been here?" in mandarin. I said no. He asked me to fill up form...write down my details (name, address, phone number). then he said, "what language you prefered?"...i replied..."anything (trying to be show off, but actually my cantonese and mandarin just novice level. :P ")...then he started to speak in mandarin. The first thing i need to tell him is my wrist got sprained. Before he started everything in mandarin, i quickly speak out "ngor lau charn ngor keh sau " - in cantonese (my wrist got sprained). phhewww....i'm done...now he understand my situation.... bla bla bla bla. After i filled up the form, he asked me to write my chinese name.... my first respond..."ok". Once he walked off, i use my usual way of writing my chinese name "draw 2 "k's" on top", follow by ............ done (i just draw it, not writing it, coz i don't know the proper stroke of chinese word). I thought he is going to say something or re-write my chinese name, but he didn't (meaning readable.....hahahaha).
Here it goes.........."when you sprained your wrist?"...........................
using the medicated liquid, massage it into skin........
ahh...arghhh...arghh... (after few arghh.......done)
"you need to make sure your hand don't touch with water.....bla bla bla"
he said "ok...AUD$68 please".
i replied "ok".

I went to choco churro again after finished eating "traditional crispy churro". I bought 6pcs for my lovely colleagues (i'm sure u guys happy to hear it. :P) to try.
