I used to like roasted chicken rice, but now i prefered hainamese chicken rice. Many people use the term roasted hainamese chicken rice, which is not correct. Hainamese people cook the chicken using simmering method or maybe poaching method of cookery. They don't roast the chicken. I'm not sure where roasted chicken rice came from? Cantonese style? Not sure. How do i know all this? LOL. I'm hainamese.
